Global Mycotoxin Review

Marcelle is Trouw Nutrition’s Marketing and Communication’s Manager. She joined Trouw Nutrition 15 years ago and has held positions as regulatory specialist and marketing communications specialist. She holds a BSc degree in Animal Husbandry from HAS University of Higher Education and an MSc degree in Animal Biology & Welfare from the University of Essex.

Dr. Haladi is the commercial and technical manager for the Mycotoxin Risk Management Programme of Trouw Nutrition. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees in veterinary science in India, and then moved to Canada to obtain his PhD in animal and poultry science. During his studies and career, he continued to gain more interest and knowledge in the area of mycotoxins, especially the global challenges around this topic. He published various articles in both peer-reviewed journals as well as industry magazines and he truly understands the global challenge of mycotoxins. He also developed practical limits for mycotoxins in various species.

Avinash is Technical Specialist Mycotoxin Analysis at Masterlab in the Netherlands. He obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Botany from Karnatak University, India. His primary interests are on natural products, analytical biochemistry and data analysis. Avinash has been responsible for analysing and presenting the mycotoxin data for the last 4 years.

Jennifer is Trouw Nutrition's Product Marketing Director and will be moderating session 2 of the Global Mycotoxin Review. Jennifer has an extensive background in animal nutrition and animal health solutions. She started working for Nutreco and Trouw Nutrition in 2023.

Dr. Daniel Miranda is Global Technical Manager for Mycotoxins at Trouw Nutrition. He holds a PhD in Animal Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and an Executive MBA from FGV, with research experience at Purdue University (USA). Dr. Miranda specialises in animal nutrition, feed additives, and innovative solutions for mycotoxin control. He has led R&D teams, managed global portfolios, and driven the development and launch of mycotoxin mitigation products, collaborating worldwide to address contamination challenges in animal production.

Eugenio Alcalde Rodríguez is Global Strategic Manager Feed Safety at Trouw Nutrition, focusing on microbial control, mycotoxin risk management, and feed processing and quality. He holds degrees in Biology, Microbiology, and a Ph.D. in Fungal Biology from the University of Sevilla, plus an Executive MBA from Maastricht University. With over 15 years’ experience in fungal biology and biotechnology, Eugenio has worked in research and industry, published peer-reviewed papers, and presented internationally. He combines scientific expertise with business strategy to drive innovative solutions globally.
