To take part you must please read the criteria and check that you are eligible to apply. Applicants warrant that, to the best of their knowledge, their project is unique and there is nothing similar already implemented
Applications will be taken between April 20 2020 and close on October 20 2020. On application, we will need an email address and mobile telephone number to allow us to contact you again. Your data will only be used for the purpose of the application and evaluation unless you agree to receive further information from Trouw Nutrition in the future.
There is a total prize fund of up to 10,000 EURO or equivalent in native currency at current exchange rate. More than one winner may be chosen. In addition, the winner may also receive an ongoing support package from the Trouw Nutrition Research and Development team that includes a site visit to scope and plan an improvement program. There is not an alternate prize offered.
Any successful applicant/s would be required to take part in communication activities, including media relations, and allow us to use their pictures or video in publicity for an agreed period.
Any successful applicant would need to agree to allow their winning initiative to be publicised, including agreed images, video, interviews and data for an indefinite time
By submitting a project, applicants warrant that he/she is aware that the provided information will be regarded as, and deemed to be, non-confidential, and that Trouw Nutrition shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such information.
Trouw Nutrition facilitates the selection process of the grant with a panel of judges (compiled of Trouw and external partners) and finances the projects exclusively. The jury takes an independent and transparent decision which projects will receive funding and R&D support.
The jury will consist of independent animal well-being experts from industry and academia, as well representatives from the ruminant team of Trouw Nutrition.
If no candidate meets the requisites of the Healthy Life grant, Trouw Nutrition reserves the right not to grant the award at any stage.
The grant may be disbursed by Trouw Nutrition to the respective projects according to progress milestones.
The receipt will be required to provide proof points that the prize monies is being used towards the initiate that has won. Proof points will be agreed by both parties.
Applicants must be legal adults in the applicant’s home country for which the participant holds a valid passport or permanent residency.
Trouw Nutrition’s Healthy Life initiative does not commit Trouw Nutrition to award a grant or to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a request.
Trouw Nutrition reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications received as a result of the initiative or to cancel in part or in its entirety this initiative at any time without prior notification or permission.
