Reducing the risk of post weaning diarrhea
In stressful situations the rate of digestions slow down and overall digestibility may drop. This could result in poorly digestible starch and protein, resulting in diarrhea, performance losses and mortality. Through our extensive research and validation process, our formulation technology has proven to be a way to improve the nutrition, performance and health of nursery piglets with visible, measured and robust results.
Minimizing loss, maximizing profit
Milkiwean Vital Start Program enables to optimally support their piglets’ development during the challenging weaning process, and to do so in a sustainable way. Key features of the program include palatability, which is essential in supporting regular and healthy feed intake in the early stages of the animal’s life, as well as the selection of top-quality protein sources to ensure optimal digestibility.

The best water quality for health and growth
Water is one of the most essential components of piglet care, and ensuring high water quality is critical for their health and growth. By providing clean, fresh, properly balanced water with the right temperature and minimal contamination, you can significantly reduce the risks of dehydration, disease, and digestive problems. Regular water quality testing, proper water system maintenance, and ensuring easy access to fresh water are key to ensuring healthy and thriving piglets
Improved digestibility with Selko-pH
Water for piglets should ideally have a pH between 6.5 and 7.5. Water that is too acidic or alkaline can affect the piglet’s digestive system and lead to gastrointestinal problems. Water that is too acidic (pH below 6) can irritate the stomach lining, while water that is too alkaline (pH above 8) can lead to reduced mineral absorption.
Selko-pH effectively reduces the pH of water. In this way, Selko-pH supports improved digestibility of diet components and maintains a stable intestinal microbiota. This results in healthy piglets with optimal performance.
